Infrastructure Engineer
In the role of Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in building, supporting and maintaining the leading software that supports the world of philanthropy. You’ll be working with cloud components and building out the systems. Collaborating closely with the engineering team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the systems and processes that enable the delivery to our customers and users.The Infrastructure Engineer will be key to providing technical direction and lead projects to improve and extend our CI/CD process, our delivery and orchestration platform, and our monitoring and logging capabilities. You will also play a key role in ensuring that our systems are resilient and that our cloud costs are well managed.

- You love resolving issues related to latency, scalability, and performance of core infrastructure
- The thing that really floats your boat is making systems better, not just building new stuff.
- 2+ years of professional software development and infrastructure operations experience
- Significant knowledge in Kubernetes management and administration, including creating manifest templates for services, deployments and other application components
- Experience writing and using terraform code to deploy production infrastructure on AWS
- Significant experience managing the full lifecycle of AWS resources such as EKS clusters, RDS, Opensearch, Route 53, and Elasticache clusters
- Familiarity with Azure and cross-cloud infrastructure
What you’ll do:
Design and implement automation of our systems, standardized tooling and process automation where infrastructure is defined in code- Work with our security team to support data integrity and help implement their tools into our automation pipelines
- Work with teams across all engineering to make sure our services are reliable, secure and repeatable to provide the best platform for our clients
- Take part in our on call rotation for production systems as needed.
