Job Overview
The Data Engineer (Python) will support the RAN Cutover and Data Ingestion workstream  by developing and maintaining data pipelines for migrating data from legacy OSS systems to a new platform. This role involves handling vendor-specific data formats and supporting market-by-market cutover processes.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Python-based data pipelines for extracting data from 360 OSS servers.
  • Process and transform vendor-specific data formats (Ericsson & Nokia XML).
  • Support market-by-market data migration and cutover processes.
  • Collaborate with architects and SMEs to ensure data integrity.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Assist in decommissioning legacy systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Python.
  • Proficiency in Python and related libraries (e.g., Pandas, PySpark).
  • Experience with data ingestion and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with XML data formats.
  • Must be located in India and eligible to work.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in telecommunications or OSS migrations.
  • Knowledge of Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.
  • Experience with large-scale data migrations.
