Job Overview

The RF & Core SME will provide domain expertise for Project Quasar’s RAN Cutover, supporting data migration from legacy OSS systems. This role focuses on ensuring accurate handling of vendor-specific data and market-by-market cutover processes for telecommunications networks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise on RAN and core network data for migration.
  • Validate vendor-specific data formats (Ericsson & Nokia XML).
  • Support market-by-market cutover processes and golden record creation.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in legacy system decommissioning.
  • Document network-specific requirements and configurations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in RAN or core network engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of telecommunications networks and OSS systems.
  • Familiarity with vendor-specific data formats (Ericsson, Nokia).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must be located in India and eligible to work.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in OSS system migrations.
  • Knowledge of Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.
  • Certifications in telecommunications (e.g., CCNA, Nokia NRS).
