Scrum Master – DevOps & Engineering Metrics (Part-Time)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Scrum Master with expertise in DevOps and Engineering Metrics to support our internal team in building, validating, and improving dashboards and reports for Agile delivery performance. This role requires strong knowledge of Agile metrics, Dora metrics, project management tools, and visualization techniques. The individual will act as a bridge between development teams and leadership, ensuring accurate interpretation and visualization of engineering data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Metrics & Dashboards:
  • Define, monitor, and validate Agile and DevOps metrics such as cycle time, lead time, throughput, PR cycle time, defect density, MTTR, deployment frequency, and change failure rate.
  • Collaborate with development teams to extract data from tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, ServiceNow, and other project management systems.
  • Design and review custom dashboards using tools like Power BI or web-based solutions (HTML/CSS) for real-time or near real-time visualization.
  • Ensure dashboards accurately reflect commitment vs delivery, sprint performance, and bottlenecks.
• Integration & Automation:
  • Work with developers to integrate multiple tools (Jira, ADO, Rally, Bitbucket) using APIs and endpoints.
  • Guide the team in data manipulation and transformation for meaningful insights.
  • Support automation of reporting and metrics collection using scripts or internal tools.
• Domain Expertise & Guidance:
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Agile and DevOps metrics.
  • Provide recommendations for improving dashboards and reports based on industry best practices.
  • Validate existing dashboards and suggest enhancements for better accuracy and visualization.
• Collaboration:
  • Partner with internal teams to review reports before client presentations.
  • Conduct discussions with stakeholders to align on metrics definitions and visualization standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and associated metrics.
• Hands-on experience with Dora metrics and DevOps performance indicators.
• Proficiency in Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, and integration with other tools.
• Ability to work with APIs, endpoints, and guide developers on data extraction.
• Experience in Power BI dashboard creation and/or custom web dashboards.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with AI-driven analytics for sprint planning and reporting.
• Familiarity with Python scripting for automation and integration.
• Exposure to healthcare domain or projects with strict compliance requirements.

Work Arrangement:

• Part-Time: 3–4 hours per day (flexible schedule).
• Remote collaboration with internal teams.
