The client relied on a reporting system built on Crystal Reports, HTML, and Visual Basic Script (VBScript). With the scripting language deprecated and operating system support declining, the system created growing risks around reliability, maintenance, and long-term compatibility. At the same time, the need to preserve 141 existing reports while transitioning to a modern, sustainable architecture made the transformation particularly complex.
